Phlebotomy

PHLEBOTOMY PROGRAM
Approved by the National Healthcare Association

Phlebotomy is an essential diagnostic tool for managing patient care. Phlebotomists perform an important and integral role in the healthcare field in both the In-patient and Out-patient environments. Accuracy and competency are the key components to a successful career in phlebotomy. This program is consistent with the schools educational mission that focuses on the provision and promotion of quality, career oriented programs, provided through classroom presentation, hands-on laboratory experience and clinical practice.

This program is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to successfully collect, process and transport blood specimens. The program is conducted on a maximum of 4 days or 4 evenings per week for 13 weeks. Upon successful completion graduates are eligible to sit for the NHA Exam, the cost of which is included in the tuition.
